The bike route along the Dunajec is a perfect example of a trail that harmoniously combines natural beauty with well-prepared infrastructure. Starting the journey, participants have the chance to admire the picturesque meanders of the river, which weave between limestone rocks and green hills. The trail mainly leads through flat terrain, making it accessible for cyclists of all skill levels. An additional advantage is the numerous viewpoints from which one can admire the panoramas of the Pieniny and surrounding towns, as well as rest areas equipped with benches and bike racks.

The journey by bike along the Dunajec is a unique opportunity to take a close look at one of the most spectacular river gorges in Europe. This section is characterized by greater wilderness and less human intervention, making the experiences even more intense. The trail leads through protected areas, allowing cyclists to encounter rare species of flora and fauna, which is an additional attraction. The bike route along the Dunajec Gorge also offers the possibility of seeing the peaks rising around, such as Sugar Head, Snail Mountain, and Wolf Rock.
Departures daily
Program:
- Departure between 9:00 and 9:30 AM – from the nearest vicinity of the accommodation (e.g., the nearby bus stop) or from our office Janosik Travel at Zamoyskiego 6;
- Bike ride along the route of the Dunajec Gorge rafting. Free time: 2.5 hours;
- Stop at the Niedzica Castle and the dam over the Czorsztyn Lagoon as well as at the Miniature Park. There is an opportunity to purchase oscypki and żyntyca at a traditional shepherd's hut by the dam (free time: 1.5 hours);
- Return to Zakopane (around 4:30 PM).
