Bielany Cave

A one-day trip from Zakopane to the Bielańskie Caves is a unique adventure that will take us into the extraordinary underground world of the Tatra Mountains. We set off in the morning from Zakopane and after about 30 minutes of driving, we arrive at the Bielańska Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Tatras, which leads to the very entrance of the Bielańska Cave.

The Bielańska Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in the Tatras, about 2 km long, known for its amazing formations of stalactites, stalagmites, cascades, and chambers that create a magical atmosphere. The cave tour is guided, with the guide telling about the history of the cave, its discovery, and geological and natural curiosities. The underground routes are well-lit, and walks in the cave are comfortable and safe.

After exiting the cave, we will take a short walk through the Bielańska Valley, which has charming meadows and a stream, as well as a viewpoint where you can admire the panorama of the Bielskie Tatras. We then head back to Zakopane, finishing the tour around noon or early afternoon.

The Bielańska Cave is an attraction accessible to tourists of all ages, and the trip is a great opportunity to combine physical activity with discovering the secrets of nature.

Trip itinerary:

1. Departure from Zakopane – meeting and departure at 8:00 AM.

2. Travel to the Bielańska Valley – about 30 minutes.

3. Tour of the Bielańska Cave – about 1.5 hours (with a guide).

4. Walk in the Bielańska Valley – about 30 minutes.

5. Return to Zakopane – about 30 minutes.

6. Completion of the tour – planned for 12:30–1:00 PM.

Duration of the tour: about 5 hours.
