Walk among the tree crowns
A one-day trip from Zakopane for a walk in the treetops is a great opportunity to spend a day amidst nature and admire the panorama of the Tatra Mountains, Pieniny, and charming valleys. The departure from Zakopane takes place in the morning, and the journey to the Forest Research and Technology Park in Bachledowa Valley takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, a unique treetop path awaits us – a wooden bridge 600 meters long, rising 24 meters above the ground. While walking on it, we can admire breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, and forests surrounding us on all sides.
The path ends at an observation tower, from which there is a panorama of the Tatra Mountains, Pieniny, and Bieszczady. An additional attraction is the opportunity to familiarize oneself with the local flora and fauna – along the path, there are educational boards and interactive exhibits that bring the topics of environmental protection and sustainable development closer. After the walk, one can relax at nearby eateries or take a short walk in the valley.
After visiting the Treetop Park, we return to Zakopane, where we will conclude our trip.
